Nutrition Articles: What Do You Believe?


Have you ever wondering what some of the best nutrition tips are, and how to be successful at losing weight and being healthy? There are several nutrition articles in magazines, books, etc...but how do you know what the best nutrition articles are? In today's article, I included three tips that will jump start your weight loss program. This is part of a series that will allow you to achieve you weight loss and 


health goals, so you will no longer have to look for another nutrition article.


Tip #1

Journal. Every day get in the habit of journaling what you ate, what was the portion size, what time you ate, how you felt emotionally (bored, tired, hungry, stressed, etc...), the exercise you did, your weight and measurements, and your daily goal. This helps hold you accountable and lets you know your habits and where change can occur.


Tip #2

Balance. Just like anything else in your life, your nutrition needs to be balanced. Instead of having a cheat day, why not incorporate the unhealthy foods you love into your lifestyle. If you love ice cream, allow yourself to have ice cream (in the correct portion) twice a week. This allows you to still have the foods you love, but in moderation. Having ice cream, for example, twice a week instead of everyday will save several calories, but still allow you to enjoy your favorite foods.


Tip #3


Fuel Your Body throughout the day. Eat every three hours and have small snack in between meals to take the edge off hunger and help from overeating at mealtime. Snacks should include low sugar yogurt, dry cereal and nut trail mix, cheese and crackers, peanut butter or cottage cheese with fresh fruit, and other grab-and-go items that combine healthy carbohydrates and

protein.
